After months of preparation, Sarah and Chris tied the knot and what a STUNNING day it was! The lovely couple decided to have their wedding at the Mission Inn in Riverside, California, a breathtaking, historic venue!
The ceremony took place in the St. Francis of Assisi wedding chapel which was exquisitely embellished with priceless treasures from around the world. Precious Tiffany stained glass panels magnificently accent the grand walls of the chapel. Gleaming with gold and meticulously gilded, the 18-karat-gold leafed altar dates back to the mid-eighteenth century and was originally commissioned for a family home in Guanajuato, Mexico. It was truly an amazing room...
The reception was held in a magnificent setting, the Spanish Art Gallery which features a unique ceiling with rich, gold drapery and a grand marble staircase, which descends down into the room from the adjacent courtyard, the perfect setting for an unforgettable entrance to any occasion.
Sarah wanted a rich, elegant décor to match the ornate Mission Inn cathedral style reception hall. She opted for rich gold and deep amethyst colors to off set the vintage, aged walls. She chose a tall gold pillar as a platform to hold the white roses centerpiece with hanging ameranthus, which turned out to be a beautiful combination. Wine bottles were used as the table numbers, wine corks were used to hold the guest names.
The most memorable portion of the décor would have to be the cake! The cake was held on the third story and was placed under a round mandap covered in sheer white fabric. Pin lights were placed to showcase the cake as a work of art. It couldn't have been more gorgeous!
Bella Rose Events and Designs could not have been more honored to design a beautiful set up for this special couple. Sarah and Chris are truly a couple that are meant for each other.
